For God’s Sake “Fold Your Laundry!”
28th March, 2010 - Posted by L. John Mason -
I do not care how depressed you are… Get off your butt and fold your laundry. Even if you are tired, fold it and then put it away. Make yourself do it! Don’t just sit there and look at it… Get up and clear this mess up. Also, wash the dishes! Make your bed! Brush your hair! EAT YOUR MEAL! Buy kitty litter for the cat box!
Do not wallow in it. I know how easy it is to wallow in it, but don’t…
Get some exercise. Meditate on positive things. Speak with healthy friends. If all else fails, get antipressant medication from your doctor AND take it.
Life can be tough but wasting your time and your life dwelling in the dark places of depression is not appropriate. Go do volunteer work with people who need your assistance and then feel good about the experience of sharing this time.
Life is short and there is no time to waste learning the lessons that you are supposed to be learning. Experience everything you can, even the difficult things. Appreciate the struggle as well as the completion. SHARE YOUR PASSIONS and bask in the light of the every moment that allows you bliss…
Do not believe everything that your preachers or politicians say ’cause they may not be telling you the WHOLE truth! THINK FOR YOURSELF and if you do not know enough to hold an opinion of your own, do the research before your ignorance leads you into wrong thoughts or action. If you want to be lazy and stupid, admit it, and do not believe everything that your TV’s “talking heads” say, ’cause they may have another agenda… Humans are supposed to be superior to other life forms on Earth because we actually “THINK” and though it is difficult to have original thoughts and opinions at least make the attempt of cognition.
